ABOUT ABOUT

As the workforce continues to evolve away from traditional employment and towards increasingly diverse, independent ways of work, our support systems are going to have to change accordingly.

At this meeting, we'll be convening leaders from around the islands to discuss the core components that go into the development of a healthy ecosystem that supports the new economy, from freelancers to telecommuters to statups and more.

KEY TOPICS

  • The state of the innovation, creative, and coworking communities in Hawaii
  • What we can learn from other urban initiatives happening elsewhere in the world
  • Brainstorming around how to better raise awareness of the existing communities and resources
  • Sharing of best practices in building effective coworking communities
  • Meeting fellow leaders and getting feedback on current initiatives
